Mr. Friedman clerked for a Federal Judge out of law school, was trained on Wall Street at large law firms, and served as General Counsel and Secretary to the Board of Directors of a large, publicly-held company. He specializes in technology transactions, corporate matters, litigations, and assisting small to mid-sized companies as de facto, general counsel. Firm clients include Carnival Cruise, The Miami Heat, World Fuel Services, CareCloud Corp, inVentiv Healthcare, e-Builder, Inc., GE Healthcare IT, Epic Systems, Allscripts, Citrix, Evergreen Sweeteners, publicitas, Rudish Health Solutions, International Paper, LiveAnswer, MD Clarity, and many others.
Notably, for five years, Mr. Friedman served as General Counsel and Secretary to the Board of Eclipsys Corporation (NASDAQ: ECLP), now Allscripts Health Solutions (NASDAQ: MDRX), a publicly-held, leading provider of healthcare technology. At Eclipsys, Mr. Friedman handled thousands of healthcare IT software, content, outsourcing, remote hosting, consulting, network and related transactions.
Mr. Friedman began his career as a law clerk to a Federal Judge, then practiced law in NYC at large Wall Street law firms handling complex corporate restructuring.
